Caitlin Collin

Caitlin Collin is pursuing her Equivalency and Master of Music Therapy degree. She currently serves as the Music Education Graduate Assistant at the Hayes School of Music. She completed her internship at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Originally from Stuart, Florida, Caitlin earned a Bachelor of Music Education and Certificate in Special Music Education from The Florida State University in 2011. Following her undergraduate studies, Caitlin taught K-5 music at an elementary school in Orlando, Florida for five years. Caitlin holds both Orff Schulwerk Levels I and II, and served as the Orff Ensemble Chairperson for the Orange County Public Schools All-County Elementary Honors Music Festival. She also served as music specialist in the district’s Hospital/Homebound program for students experiencing medical and psychiatric conditions which preclude them from attending school. She is an outdoor enthusiast with interests in the preservation of public lands and wilderness therapy.
