Caroline Farmer is a graduate assistant pursuing a Master’s in Violin Performance and is a member of the Hayes Graduate String Ensemble. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a double major in Violin Performance and Music Education with a minor in Music Theory. Caroline has been playing violin for almost 15 years and has spent her summers as a camp counselor at Cannon Music Camp here in Boone. In addition to performing, Caroline also enjoys teaching. She was an interim orchestra director for a middle school in Knoxville, TN and also taught a variety of private lessons. Upon completing her Master’s degree, Caroline hopes to be a member of a professional symphony and start her own private violin studio.
