- Recent performances, publications, awards: *Received Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Conducting from University of Southern Mississippi, 2008. *Since joining the music department of Wingate University in 2008, the enrollment in the instrumental program has tripled. The Wingate University Wind Ensemble has commissioned two published works and participated in a joint commission on a third.
- What did you value most about your graduate experience in the Hayes School of Music? I appreciated the amount of hands-on experience I was able to have through being the graduate assistant to the Marching band and the director of the Basketball and Concert band. Most important, I still value to this day my relationships with the wonderful faculty of the School of Music who are so supportive of their students and enthusiastic about what they do.
