Bethany McCabe, MT-BC, or “Mickey” to her friends, is a graduate student in the combined Equivalency and Master of Music Therapy Program. A 2020 graduate of Western Carolina University, Bethany received her Bachelors of Arts in Music and her Bachelors of Science in Music Education, studying under Dr. Eldred Spell. While at WCU, Bethany volunteered with United Sound and completed her teaching internship under Mr. Craig Summers, a music therapist. It was because of these influences in her life, as well as a calling from her Lord, she is pursuing Music Therapy. When she isn’t studying or practicing, Bethany enjoys reading, exploring, and engaging in the community.
