Haley Kruse

Hailing from Gilbert, Arizona, Haley Kruse is a graduate student in the Equivalency and Master of Music Therapy program. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Viola Performance with a minor in Psychology from the University of North Texas, where she served for four years as the violist of the Viridis Quartet through the Undergraduate String Quartet Program. While at UNT, she worked as an accessibility assistant through UNT’s Office of Disability Access, and as a coach with KinectAbility Athletics, a fitness company providing training to individuals with disabilities. She hopes to continue working with the disabled community through music therapy. On the weekends, you can find Haley hunched over a new painting, curled up with a book by the window, or sitting with a guitar obsessing over Vampire Weekend lyrics. In all areas of life, she hopes to bring more creativity, inspiration, and kindness into the world.
