Kelsey Fields

Kelsey Fields is a board-certified music therapist pursuing dual degrees in Music Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kelsey graduated from University of Evansville in Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and a minor in psychology. During her undergraduate studies, Kelsey was a participant and later an intern with the Jamaica Field Service Project, a service learning trip which provides a variety of practicum experiences, in-depth musical instruction and cultural emersion to music therapy students. She completed her music therapy internship at Lawrence Hall Youth Services in Chicago, IL working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders in residential treatment and foster care/home services settings. Kelsey worked as a music therapist at TriStar Skyline Madison Behavioral Health Hospital in her hometown of Nashville, TN. Kelsey has decided to attend graduate school to widen her scope of practice by obtaining licensure as a professional counselor, and to learn advanced music therapy techniques, gain supervision experience, and conduct research in her field.
