Master of Music Performance
Early in the term the performance student plans to take Comprehensive Exams, they should form their Graduate Committee (see The Graduate Committee) and inform the Graduate Performance Director of the members of the committee. The Performance Program Director will submit an online form to be signed by the committee and which will also request the student’s Admission to Candidacy. Composition students who have chosen to do a thesis will have their thesis committee chair submit the Thesis Committee Membership Form along with the student’s completed thesis prospectus to the Graduate School. This must be done the term before the student registers for thesis credit. This form also functions as the request for the student’s Admission to Candidacy.
Master of Music Therapy
The student completing a Clinical Paper will request Admission to Candidacy from the Music Therapy Program Director. The Music Therapy Program Director will submit an online form to be signed by members of the graduate music therapy faculty. Students completing a thesis will submit the Thesis Committee Form with the completed thesis prospectus.
